yoga for moodIf your workouts and your mood have gone stale, why not try something that has been proven to boost results and your happiness factor? A recent study unveiled that yogis who practice three times per week have more gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) than people who walk at the an intensity equal to yoga poses. GABA is a neurotransmitter that induces calm and relaxation and has been associated with a reduced incidence of panic and anxiety disorders.

You don’t have to be a pro to do yoga (I am new myself.)  Head to a class at your local gym or a studio that specializes in these workouts. Don’t hesitate to let the instructor know you are new. Contrary to popular belief, the first time in a yoga class is a lot less scary than in an aerobics class. And you will feel amazing!
