You know protein is fuel for your muscles, but did you know that when you eat it matters?

You can fuel the supply of amino acids to your muscles by consuming 25 grams of protein up to one hour after your workout.

If you have been fueling up with a protein bar or shake before your workout, make the switch to after your workout. And, to avoid extra sugars that are often found in protein shakes, try enjoying a few egg whites or almonds instead.
