Science Daily reported that study researcher, B.Y. Kim, said in an interview, “Cellular toxicities were significantly alleviated in response to treatment with the extracts of asparagus leaves and shoots. 1. They have never came to me as ‘stinky’. I love them fried with olive oil, garlic and white wine. Even better now that they are a good cure for hangover. Thanks for sharing.

    1. LOL, I was trying to be polite. . . I love asparagus too! Roasted with lemon and olive oil. (But, I will have to try your suggestion – that sounds delicious!) By “stinky,” I was referring to the genetic pre-disposition that some people have – a condition that causes their urine to smell particularly foul following the consumption of asparagus. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  2. Oops!…sorry for my lack of knowledge with words and expressions. But I’m not afraid to learn if you can bear with me. 🙂

    1. Of course, no worries – I appreciate your interest!!! Thanks so much!
